The Language of the Image

This week’s Poynter’s NewsU course was The Language of the Image. I hate myself for procrastinating with reading this because I learned SO much!! I have recently become more interested in photography and this course was very informational not only about photography for journalism, but also photography for anyone. I learned about lighting, graphics, emotion, mood, impact, and surprise element in photos. If you are not signed up for Poynter’s NewsU I would strongly suggest it–it is helpful for anyone in the PR, Marketing, or Journalism field. Here is the link:
